How does the process work?
Leak tests are performed on different types of automotive components when it is necessary to ensure their hermetic seal, however that they are not subject to air leaks.
VSystem quality department has a fully equipped pressure test bench, we are able to perform leak tests in positive pressure up to 20 bar by connecting the part completely sealed to the machine and carrying out a test cycle which consists of the following stages:
• Filling of the piece until the nominal test pressure is reached
• Stabilization
• Permanence at the reference pressure for the test time specified by the project
• Determination of the pressure loss occurred during the set time
Our instrument may also generate a complete test report with pressure drop diagram as well as component compliance with project specifications.
