VSystem doesn’t mean only exhaust systems and heat resistant components, we can manufacture many different types of premium components in different market segments.
Indeed, in recent years we have developed several projects related to structural parts, such as trellis frames, suspensions and safety components.
About this, in the second half of 2017, VSystem managed to become an official supplier for the safety protection component HALO III - B in accordance with the FIA standard 8869-2018.
Since many years ago we supply several Formula 1 teams with our products, helping to increase the safety of the drivers during motor racing.
In the second half of 2019, VSystem in cooperation with the Austrian Company Pankl Racing Systems AG, developed the safety structure “Windscreen” which is mounted on the cars in the American IndyCar championship.
For this project Pankl was supplying the structure segments manufactured by additive manufacturing, while VSystem was welding, machining and inspecting the full component.
Starting from September 2019, in less than one year more than 50 structure have been made in our plant based in Fiorano Modenese.
