Vsystem technical experts carried out a set of tube bending tests focusing on an extremely challenging material: Grade 9 near alpha titanium alloy.

The focus is on a structural material, characterized by a combination of resistance and lightness, quite complex to manipulate in case of cold plastic deformations.

Thanks to the competence of Vsystem experts and our tool manufacturing partners, we are now able to successfully bend in sequence thin-walled tubes ready for use in motorsport frame parts. A new goal out team achieved, ready now for new challenges!
