Dedicated to welding training and the certification of mwelding processes, the project results from collaboration between Vsystem and STS Certificazioni.
In Italy, the welder is one of the most in-demand and difficult to recruit specialist figures, particularly when it comes to MIG/MAG continuous wire welding, TIG, coated electrode and submerged arc welding. Vsystem and STS Certificazioni have therefore developed a solution that responds to a growing and largely unsatisfied demand in a district like Modena where, within the automotive, medical and mechanical industries, the search for specialist welders and workers necessitates the training of increasingly competitive figures.
A space for high-level professional training
The partnership between two leaders in their respective segments led to the idea to create a welding Academy based at the Vsystem factory, recently expanded with a new production space in which to train qualified staff for markets that are highly specialist and high-performance in terms of their clients and manufacturing. Markets such as motorsport,aerospace, defense and design, without excluding any other type of processing that involves welding.
As for the birth of the project, Vsystem CEO, Silvia Gaiani, states: "I had long wanted to develop a training pathway for professional figures who are absolutely essential to us and highly sought after because they are difficult to find on the market. When the opportunity arose to develop a pathway with our partner STS Certificazioni, I immediately made myself available, as an instructor, and the company too, with the aim of building a real training hub that can benefit the entire Fiorano and Modena area."

Welding Academy structure and services
Each course can accommodate between three and six/seven people, whether these be specialist personnel or individuals taking their first steps in the world of welding. The welding processes both for the basic and advanced courses are: MIG/MAG 131-135, Electrode 111 and TIG 141.

Anybody who has welding experience and wants todevelop a highly specialised level of professionalism with the aim of workingin the sector. This high-level training course involves both theoretical andpractical lessons.
